We are a team of highly skilled doctors. Just breathtaking, a moment in time to be remembered for a lifetime! Finally, the gown by designer Sarah Burton for Alexander McQueen, absolute perfection. As I sit here this morning having my coffee and scone I cant shake the chill bumps of this momentous occasion. Happy Friday everyone, that is all I am going to say about that, next week back to regular scheduled blogging!
Perhaps its the luxury of not being in front of the camera for a living, but working on these kind of projects with the amazing people we get to meet every day becomes kind of like the fun mucking around you would do with a bunch of friends. Aside from the genuinely fun time I had lounging around in a hotel room in D&G, drinking wine and singing along (rather badly) to Feetwood Mac, it was also completely interesting – as shoots always are – watching the team at work. I have been working on my portfolio and am in the process of actually doing something with my website…other than having a holding page which has been there for a year or so. I mean really Rome wasnt built in a day so like I tell my clients these things dont happen instantly they take time, right? My friend, colleague, Marie of Phreckles Photography was so so wonderful this week when I needed photos in a jiffy and came to my rescue, thank you, thank you!
She did some shots of my home so I thought I would share a few with you. I am really into detail oriented photos and always enjoy seeing them on other blogs and publications.

The Zara Look

I am loving the more muted tones, metallic definitions and dont even get me started on the python & aztech prints in the current ZARA lookbook. This compared to the blocks and blocks of colour featuring everywhere.

Dont get me wrong I am still digging the trend (albeit smart variations of it) but walking into the Bangkok store over the weekend was like being hit in the face with multiple paint balls. It was all a bit same same (the Thai are so ont have already spotted the python print on a set of cropped trousers in the Tel Aviv store.. looks like that Bangkok experience was definitely a one off. This is one of those places you can hole up in for days whilst satisfying every one of your all important holiday needs: food, shopping and food
